Noor is pursuing her Masters in Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and has 12 years of experience working with neurodiverse children in Singapore. She moved to Melbourne last year with her family and is eager to contribute to the community by leveraging her experience working with children.
Workshop Highlights:
- Storytelling: Sing a Song of Hawker Food! Imagine Humpty Dumpty enjoying kaya toast, Jack and Jill grilling satay on a hill, and the Three Blind Mice eating chicken rice at the hawker centre. Dive into familiar nursery rhymes with a Singaporean Hawker twist!
- Create Your Own Bowl of Fishball Noodles: Kids will design their own bowl inspired by the classic "Rooster bowl" and use craft materials to create noodles, fishballs, and other toppings.
- Additional Activities: Coloring and playdough creations of other hawker food.
